Giving a Fresh Coat to Kansas

Fresh Coat Painters has expanded into Kansas with the addition of Tara Tooley’s painting franchise to serve Overland Park, Shawnee, Lenexa, Olathe, Gardner, Spring Hill, Stilwell and their surrounding Johnson County communities southwest of Kansas City.

Tooley said her first-hand experiences showed her that many of those in the service industry need to adjust their actions to better serve their clients. She has assisted her husband with his roofing and insulation business and had worked as an insurance adjuster herself. In both roles, she saw situations when clients were left in a lurch or were misled in some way by individuals or companies hired to address a client’s specific problems.

“Fresh Coat is client-driven,” she said. “And that’s what sold me. I know that is what’s missing in most home service interactions. With Fresh Coat, we hire our employees. We don’t use subcontractors. We do background checks, and our workers are bonded and insured. And we have a client service manager assigned to every job. Clients get the attention they deserve.”

Western Tennessee finally gets a Fresh Coat

Fresh Coat Painters’ expansion into Tennessee is continuing with the launch of Chris Hurt’s painting franchise to serve the communities of Dyersburg, Jackson, Ripley, Covington, Alamo, Halls and their surrounding communities.

For Hurt, the franchise offered an opportunity to create jobs in his hometown while providing more security for himself and his family. The Halls, Tenn., native attended college in Jackson, then returned to Halls where he now works as a physical education teacher and head football coach for the high school.

“I love teaching and coaching,” he said. “At the same time, I have three children. The reality is that as a teacher, you basically need another source of income to provide for your family’s future.”

Giving Monroe a Fresh Coat

Fresh Coat Painters is extending its services in Ohio with the addition of Steve Moody and Shannon Oyler’s painting franchise to serve Monroe, Morrow, South Lebanon, Springboro, Fairfield, Hamilton, Lebanon, Middletown and their surrounding communities.

For Moody and Oyler, the franchise provides each partner with an opportunity to use their best skills while growing a profitable business for both – all while ensuring top-notch, professional services for their clients.

“We’re very different people,” Moody said. “I tend to be strictly business. I just want the job done and done right in the most efficient way possible. Shannon approaches work in a much more personable way. I knew I wouldn’t be able to make this franchise work without the balance of her skills.”
